    Even he wouldnt be that stupid would he ? he is desperate to sell, i still lean towards it being down to the goons at the PL and their darling scousers and a few other clubs ruining the takeover. Miss Staveley seemed to lay all the blame on the PL and their darling clubs

    How would things stand if for example PIF bought 49 percent off Ashley, then Staveley them got her 10 percent, then the Ruben's bought 10 percent. Once that was done PIF bought the rest in a takeover.
    I might be rambling, I have had a few, I have been confident and feel lower than a snakes belly, would they then have to do an OD test to purchase the remaining shares.
    That fella down at Everton has a stake in the club and ploughs money in.

    Certainly worth exploring and it seems Amanda Staveley is not going to give up which is good news

    I agree with this, although Ashley renegotiating at the last minute sounds like the most Mike Ashley thing ever
