Whilst I love Whanchope and his goal against Man Utd was brill..... I can’t say it’s the best Derby one I’ve ever seen!

Whether or not a goal is special is not only it's quality but also the timing and circumstances! As well as a great goal it came at a ***** time in our attempts to stay in the top division, it boosted confidence and belief. So, to me it's a special and memorable goal.
These goals live long in the memory and have a significant place in our history. Another that I'll never forget for the same reasons is the McGovern goal against Liverpool when we won the title. Always to be savoured such goals!

Takes some balls to just stride straight through the middle of that defence AND still place it effortlessly past Schemichael. Happy birthday Paulo, great memories!

Loved that one, I was in the Paddock for that, but one I relish was a few weeks before, Hunter’s OG to put us two up against Leeds - not (just) because of his misfortune but the whole build up especially Kev Hector’s pass, not often I’ve felt so happy at the footy
