Adi got to be a possibility of they want to sell Pukki .Norwich have already signed three including Dowell

He is actually from Beccles which is in Suffolk, but yes has relatives there. Not sorry to see him go, frees up wages and enables further rebuilding which has to be a good thing.

It will be interesting to see how these players who have taken a gamble on getting a better contract elsewhere will fare, not many clubs will be slashing the cash. Wonder if Hendrick might regret turning down Burnley's contract offer?

Are players greedy? perhaps or maybe they just think they are worth more than they actually are and haven't fully understood that outside the prem big paydays are unlikely next season.

Yes they are greedy. Based admittedly on limited evidence but I know one who lives next door to my mate near Lincoln, who plays/played for a League 1 team and who can’t have a conversation Without bragging off about his weekly pay. He has a tricky injury which isn’t healing well but against the odds he was offered a new contract at the same Pay level (!) in May. He turned it down as he (more likely his agent) wanted more!!! He’s now without a club...

But in 5 years he'll be at the end of his career, why not soak it up while he can?

Seeing it from both parties point of view, Derby have offered their top line and told him it's still on the table, until a replacement is found.

Martin has a short period of time to get a better deal elsewhere, but I think that realistically, his best choice, will be to stay at Derby.

It is often the Agents who stir the pot, but then the players employ them and ought to think for themselves and the example you have given seems short sighted on the players part. Greedy or just trying to get the most they can whilst they are playing? As with most things its a gamble and in the lower leagues whilst still good money I don't blame any individual for trying to get the best deal they can.

Just this year things may well be different with clubs saving the pounds!

Presumably Bristols offer is still greater than our lower offer
