I think if you read my comments in the matchday thread I conceded I was overly pessimistic about the team and our prospects, and was very complimentary about nearly all the players

Yes, Koch and Rodrigo were the exceptions, unsurprisingly, but you would defend them by saying they havent played in the PL before (or recently) etc etc, something like I was saying before they arrived (and I would have at east given the poor b4stards a chance to train a little with their squad mates and get some of the Bielsa way, but according to some, as they are capped internationals, they dont need that (oh really?)).

But dont let that stop you from having a go, I guess it fills some of your day.

Was joking - he was trying too hard to impress you could see his brain couldn’t override the instinctive leg dangle. Like the look of Rodrigo - good pass in the build up to the Klich goal. To be fair to PB it was one of his better games and he took his goal well.

Agreed. Only Leeds player who disappointed me was Tyler Roberts. Doesn't look like he can increase his level to what's needed for PL. I believed in him all of last season, but I am not so sure anymore.

Agree with that Cherry, think Roberts is cr@p. must be better options out there....

It sure I would say he is crap but definitely not progressed as we would have hoped maybe due to injuries.

Suspect he may struggle to make the match day squad as the season progresses but he is still young and it was only one game. Sure he will play v dull so let’s see how he goes then.

aside from a couple of late goals in one game, hes been consistant on every other occasion. A pattern of cr@pness starts to suggest, well, cr@pness.....

Roberts seems to have the odd decent game but I would suggest he appears to be decent-ish when coming off the bench for the last 20/30 mins of games.

Problem is that was in the championship and we are now in a much tougher league where we really need quality all way through the squad.

Question is can he improve/step up to the sort of standard required???

    Doubt it.

Roberts is only 21 and had a few injuries, if he can stay injury free, maybe loan out for a while though I'd keep him as back up if MB thinks it worthwhile. He has extremely quick feet and arrives late usually unmarked in box. Injuries have hampered his appearances as has MB preference to keep with Paddy and Rodrigo probably battling with Pablo for No10.

Leeds United are ready to table a loan-to-buy offer for Rodrigo De Paul after failing to agree the terms of a permanent transfer.

Why would the Italians agree to that after that other debacle still ongoing I would not blame them if they told us to go somewhere.
