At least 75% of the league voted for it. They are saying it's for player safety just now but I'm not sure it makes a difference.
It doesn't benefit anyone more than the two teams with the biggest budgets.
Why the phuck have we agreed to this? Talk about turkeys voting for Christmas! This will benefit 2 teams only who could play 2 different teams of 11 every week and still pump the majority of sh!te in our league. Now giving them the option of 5 fresh sets of legs surely makes it even tougher for everyone else?

Are we having those "drinks breaks" as well?
You’ll get one at half time
I didn't pay attention in england.
So 9 subs, make 5 but only disrupt game 3 times.
If you use half time does that count as a disruption? What if you throw a sub on when the other team have started doing one?
I don’t mind the 5 subs thing for a month maybe?
And only in 3 batches like we can do now.
They’ve not played for 5 months so it lessens chance of muscle injuries.
Then on Sept 1st revert to 3.
Thankfully we haven’t agreed to the farcical drinks breaks.
Can you imagine.... 9 degrees at Pittodrie in October & stopping for a drink?
In short, it should benefit team with bigger / better squads, but the optimist in me hopes it will give the opportunity for more youngsters to get more game time.
They should have introduced a caveat that the extra 2 subs that could be used should be u-21’s
Im only guessing its because the players have not played a competitive game in 5 months so if the Sports Scientists do their stuff maybe if they can see a player "going into the red" then the can suggest getting them subbed off before getting an injury as we have enough of them already , so from that point of view I don't mind it for now maybe for 1st couple months of season
