No, that's not the case Sub, I won't gamble with my money, nor with my life. I do invest money on the outcome of sporting events, mainly horse racing and football, but there has to be a return on that investment, and there is, I check my accounts, methods and systems on a weekly basis to ensure they remain profitable. When it becomes clear that I can't ensure a return on my investments I'll stop doing it, I won't gamble with my money.
Thought you’d had it so you can afford to do that. Enjoy missing the little prick. Lol
Good question is that one OC. My doctor requested a blood sample over a month ago, but no results as yet.
There is also an awful lot of confusion about how long any potential immunity will last.
Either way I will not be having any vaccination for corona virus. You will have to take me on my word for this, but three years ago under extreme pressure from the Child Bride and our GP's surgery I had a 'flu jab in October.
Early the following January I had the 'flu so bad, the wife called the Doctor during the night. Never again will anyone inject me with anything, and that is final.
Come on BT, it's all a myth that the 'flu jab can cause the 'flu. Lots of my friends who have had the jab and then got 'flu have told me that that is the case!
Personally, I have never had one, not had 'flu for well over 40 years and not even had a cold since 1979 and I caught that in hospital whilst in for a hernia operation! Dangerous places are hospitals!
Usually you get a booster to maintain immunity, think this one is 4 weeks.
The flu vaccine is a best guess by WHO in Feb of what is likely to come here in October. They aren’t always right, maybe your bug wasn’t in the vaccine, however with COVID it definitely is.
Sounds like your sample got lost!
Yes hospitals are dangerous places, especially as antibiotic resistance grows. I got MRSA which took a while to clear. Patients died from Clostridium they got in hospital up here. Hope your sister is ok.
Some vulnerable patients got COVID they didn’t have and died. Same applies in Care Homes.
I remember one cause 20 years was the Hoover which picked the bugs up and blew them out as it went round the ward, a Dyson with HEPA filter fixed that cause!
This lockdown must be really overrated because Peter Sutcliffe was in lockdown for over 40 years but he stilldied of Covid 19 ---just shows that lockdown does not work!
Lol
He never wore a mask though!
