The Northampton captain has been strongly linked to us.
The fee discussed is 1 million pounds but a fee plus Wharton has also been explored.
Not sure how I feel on this,big step up 2 divisions,however he has attracted alot of attention from others in this division.

A very interesting read and the long throw would be a useful weapon,one we haven't used since Pedersen?
Only query is,can he make it in predominantly a back 4?as it appears that was a back 3 used at Northampton.

Not even sure why we are even being linked anymore. We have zero money. Unless we sell Armstrong we won't even be able to get a GK. And we wont re-invest that money (we wont get more than £7m for him) it will be a free transfer. The money we get from Armstrong's sale will be used for his wages, and the rest will be off-set to reduce the club over-heads.
