Buying cheap and selling at a good price?? Yes, Hezbullah wanted it for explosives. "It is known that this substance is used for making explosives and it is also known that Hezbollah, the Lebanese armed group, is often smuggling material like this into Lebanon through the port, so it is for sure that Hezbollah might have some sort of link to the ammonium nitrate that exploded at the port''.

    BT:
For your futile detective mind. If Israel did it .....then how did they do it ? An aircraft would be detected by radar,or its missile. Israel is possibly 100 km (59 miles) away, and there are road blocks ,so how could they have done it ? How could they have got inside the port and got away, from such a blast ? Then all this without being detected?
Interestingly Balan, a French Journalist and an English speaking eye witness both claim they saw a "fast moving rocket/missile/fighter plane" directly over their heads moments before BOOM!

Forgive me Alf, but if I was a mischievous Mossad agent and I wanted to close Lebanon down and I knew almost 3000 tonnes of ammonium nitrate was being stored in the country's only truly operational port, I would not need to be a rocket scientist to know what I would need to do.

    Would I Alf?

The eye witness I saw on TV this morning who reported a fast incoming attack, sounded pretty convincing to me.

My cat can launch a lightning attack BT but if I told you that was what I witnessed (even if I was English speaking) I’d be inclined to doubt what I was saying because I haven’t got a cat. Not even Schrödinger’s cat. I hope that clears that up.

Using your metaphorical cat as an example outwood, the Israelis have plenty...

That seems a bit suspicious in itself BT, a big city like Beirut, in a state of tension with war breaking out on their border with Israel, yet ONLY two people saw this rocket/missile/fighter plane ? Tell you what mon ami, if a rocket/missile/fighter plane flew over Clitheroe or Bolton, a lot more than two people would know about it.

Not that I'm saying Israel aren't responsible, hard to believe they're not really isn't it ?
