Thread: Transfer thread

Any chance of selling McNeil looks to be over.

On the other hand, the "money in" column suggests Tarkowski might be sold. £40 million and he's gone, I reckon.

I still wouldn’t be surprised if mcneil went as well BT 85 million in bank for both to bolster us for a championship rat race for a few seasons.
We are the most dire of all clubs at sourcing players
Watched Brentford yesterday and their recruitment team were in the stands , sky panned camera in on them and went into philosophy of how they recruit etc.

Those three would be a good signing in my opinion they seem to get it right more than they get it wrong

We have( is it ) Rigg and that’s where it ends for me seen him once when we signed him for the job , since then I’m at a loss as to what he’s actually delivered to us , or maybe he’s bringing players all the time and the board - manager poo poo him.

Seems like Tarkowski is open to a move.

Release clause is £50 million, but will someone pay it?

Could be that rare thing at our club, an astute move, can't be long before the bedwetters ban bookies from sponsoring sports teams so we might be one step ahead with this one. Although they don't seem much different to your ordinary bookies to me, they just facilitate gambling for richer, posher folk in commodities, b.i.t.c.o.i.n etc. and call it investment. Nevertheless it's still gambling.

Announcing another new signing, unfortunately no player is involved.

I heard while watching Chelsea v Liverpool yesterday that Chelsea have signed the Moroccan Hakim Ziyech for £40 Million, a play Garlick apparently "claimed" we were after 3/4 years ago, but he eventually went to Ajax, I'm not surprised if the news is true that the other day we offered £8 Million for a highly rated attacking midfielder from Europe. . . . . . . . When his release clause has a £14 Million ceiling, sounds just like Burnley's way of missing out

I have reported before that I once sat down with our old CEO Dave Baldwin who explained our transfer "policy" at the time. The odd thing to me was Dave also added we had "no budget". Dyche as more or less said the same thing now.

It seems we do not have a "transfer policy" either. I find it hard to believe Dyche allows this situation to continue, especially when he seems to be involved in most things at Turf Moor.

At the end od the day, SD is an employee of the club and it is the club who pay his wages, therefore, who knows how much he is involved?
