Grant never did, every time I thought, that's in against Grant, it was, it hit the back of the net, every time, without fail. If he blocked a shot you could guarantee it would fall at an attacker's feet and end up in the back of our net, and don't get me going on one attempted save away to Hull, I've never seen nothing like it, he seemed to be deliberately avoiding the ball. It's fair to say I didn't like him, I much preferred the Beast for all his faults.
I can tell you were never in the Lee Grant Fan Club sinkov, mind you, not a lot were!

Worst keeper we've had since Nik the Greek BT, not only did Nik never save a shot from outside the area, I never even saw him move for one. I'm convinced his eyesight had gone, he couldn't see beyond 20 yards.

Things often happen in threes so I'll see if I can think of another of our keepers to slag off before the day's out, shouldn't be too difficult, in fact no need to wait, Roger 'No Hands' Hansbury, Dracula, a joke keeper if ever there was one.

We went to Blackpool in the old fourth division in the late eighties and got drubbed 5-0, we had a loan goalkeeper playing for us. I think he came from Cardiff, I'm sure it was from the Candy Floss stall and not the football club. My God he was useless. I can't remember his bloody name though.

Was this the game BT? Mark Kendall was good at picking the ball out of the nets, but not much else.

My fav goalie has to be Super Harry Thompson .. What a character he was.Closely followed by Adam Blacklaw who became a good friend of mine and workmate at Nelson and Colne college.

Aye I was there as well, Mark Kendall as 59 says, to say he had a mare is being kind to him, my granny would have had a hat-trick if she'd been playing that day. It's a sad tale though, poor lad died a while ago now, only 49 years old.

He was the culprit sinkov, sorry to hear about his early demise though.

I hope they take him off our hands.

Wonder if Hendrick has found a Club yet?
Newcastle expect to close the deal tomorrow on Hendrick.

The Foxes and now Spurs are apparently hell bent on signing our twenty year old "whiz kid" Dwight McNeil. Both clubs think he will be a "great long term investment" and according to Turf Moor gossip - £50 million will get the deal done.

I hope we can get JBG and Brady fit, because we are going to need them.

What about this brand new, state of the art, Academy production line. Nothing coming off that ?
