    Why is it?

That whenever we are connected with players these are the common denominators.
    1. Players the club doesn’t use in their first team
    2. Players who have a recent history of a serious injury.
    3. Players who have been replaced by another signing. (Why do you replace a player?)
    The common denominator is CHEAP.
Would love to see more ambition. Really would.

I read that Pereira will sign when he comes back from holiday but as it is supposedly a done deal, why didn't he already sign? I find it odd but I guess there is a good reason!

It is odd, and slow but as with many news items ,the only news is what we already knew months ago. Would have been good to have had two signings already and more on the way.

I've heard a massive queue of high quality players are stood in a socially distanced queue of none outside the East Stand to sign for us on lower wages than they can get elsewhere without even contacting their agents. They're willing to do this because we are West Bromwich Albion, they love the triple barrel name, the club itself and our history. Watch this space....

Money talks 68. We just don't spend any.
