    And now this....

John Percy had previously reported on The Telegraph website that the Baggies will make a move to sign Krovinovic on a permanent basis from Benfica this summer for around £6million. However, that plan now seems to have been put to bed and a second loan deal looks more likely.

It could be that the coronavirus pandemic has had such an impact on Albion’s finances that they would rather put off buying Krovinovic outright for another year.

We’ve seen something similar happen at Leeds United, who were expected to sign Jack Harrison permanently from Manchester City this summer but are now signing him on loan

Another loan with a view to signing on a permanent basis for a pre arranged fee once he's proven himself at the higher level whilst freeing up funds for other targets would make perfect sense.

    Maybe it would.
