The international goal was against Spain though.

    F/T - 5-1 win for Runavik.

2nd European hat-trick for Klæmint Olsen. His first was against Hibs in 2018.

I know it's looking too far ahead but if we get through the second round the draw for the play off round is held before we play the third round tie. Assuming the seeded team we draw in the third round doesn't get knocked out in the second round then it will be their seeding that will determine whether we are seeded in play off round or not (top 13 seeds left after round 2 are seeded for play off round). Obviously we can't draw sevco in either Q3 or PO round.

All as clear as mud because the scumbags at UEFA contort everything to ensure as many of the "big teams" make the group stages as possible.

So what do we want in the two draws?

Q2 is easy as we want the easiest possible draw. Assuming it is regionalised again to limit covid travelling that's probably something like Bala Town from Wales or the third best team in the Faroes.

Q3 gets trickier as to what kind of draw we want. If we get a lower seed like Apollon then we will be unseeded in the PO round so will draw a top 13 seed and then it is fingers crossed they get knocked out in R3 as it will be a real stretch to beat any of those teams even in a one off game at an empty Pittodrie. If we get a top 13 seed then for sure we would have to beat them as very unlikely one of them loses in R2 and even then we still end up with a tough game in the PO round despite being seeded. On balance would take a "winnable" game in R3 and take our chances in the PO round.

So what do I want next week

Q2 draw (Monday) Bala Town/B36 Torshavn
    Q3 draw (Tuesday) Apollon/Rosenberg/Hapoel

Basically we’re phucked. We need a miracle to get past Round 3 never mind the play off round.

one of matches gives anyone a chance. Coleraine gubbing Maribor etc.

Also the fact we dont need to worry about away goals probably helps us.

Let's see what the draw brings first. The 'big' team we face in round 3 might be knocked out in round 2 cos they are away in kazakhstan or something.

Mental that you could play AC Milan and then still have ANOTHER round to play before making it into the groups.

It’s pretty simple really. They don’t want the likes of us anywhere near their party.

They just want the tedious repetition of the same teams playing each other in the same groups with the sane results every year as that’s what the tourist fans from the Far East etc want to watch...

And that in a nutshell is it !!

What happened to this " Diddy " third Europa cup . Probably shelved till the Covid is expunged ?

That`s our only likely chance of near future Euro glory. ? Although that will see the same regulars ppearing. Maribor, Kairat Almaty , Venstspil . They all keep popping up don`t they ?
