    Our Mandy's latest statement

We are not letting this go neither is Ashley nor are any of the buyers. Let's keep the pressure on any way we possibly can. Show the League for what it actually is and hopefully get this takeover done and dusted. Or at least get some answers why it hasn't. https://www.themag.co.uk/2020/08/ama...e-united-fans/

Still nothing from the premier league.

I hope this doesn't rumble on for months with the odd buyer statement and silence from the PL and Ashley.

something is not quite right here, its now being said that they have NOT formally retracted the offer for the club.

The deal remains with the premier league for approval.

If this is true, it certainly would make sense as to why Mike has remained tight lipped and the prem have said nowt.
Pretty bold publicity stunt trying to force the hand of Dlck Masters if the offer remains on the table

If the owners test is still officially with the league then you’d think they’ll have to make a decision one way or another and then the buyers have a right of appeal if it’s turned down before they’ll go to court if they believe the rejection is unlawful. Now, if the league continues to do nothing as has been the case for 18 weeks or whatever it is now, I think there are two complications with this - firstly, they can’t change the requirements of the test while one is ongoing and secondly, if another club changes ownership they’ll surely have to make a decision on this one first or if they don’t and wave the second one through in a couple of weeks, they’ll need to clarify why one is fine while a prior one remains undetermined. In theory no club can be sold until this is resolved unless they have a cast iron reason not to approve ours that they are confident can be defended at court if the interested parties take it that far. They’re in a total mess and looks like they’ve totally underestimated the fallout of their actions or in this case inaction.
