Was listening to an article on BBC RS a few days ago. Apparently, that van was used in an episode of 'Top Gear'. Freddie Flintoff drove it in a race against an ice-cream van that the Top Gear team had built themselves. When they got the van back, it apparently took ages to clean the insides, as it was covered in ice-cream. No info on when the episode is airing though. Good to hear that they are continuing to support Crewe Alex as well. I suppose, given the situation at the moment, it would've been very easy to cut back and not renew the sponsorship. Good on them!!!
