    Livingston reject second Barnsley offer

Livingston reject further bid from Barnsley for Rangers target Lyndon Dykes
The BBC say the English Championship side has made an improved offer for the Aussie striker, but it still hasn't met the demands of Livi.

A second side is also understood to have registered their interest in the 24-year-old.

Livingston are believed to value Dykes at around £2million after he enjoyed a fine season last term, scoring nine league goals in 25 appearances with eight assists along the way.
That form has led to calls from some for a Scotland cap for the Australian-born striker but as it stands, Dykes is yet to commit to either nation at international level.

Doduth Ladyboys who meet in front of Shaws old chipoyle premises on Station Rooad would welcome Dykes to live in the area to increase the diversity of the community.

We won't be going to £2m that I do know so unless Livingston are prepared to come down to around £1.3m he won't be coming here .

I'm glad we aren't paying £2 million for a bloke that only scored 9 goals in the SPL.

Dane has got a proper transfer war chest behind him nar. £7 million for( possibly ) staying up, £2 mill for Woodrow, £2 mill for Mowatt, £1 mill for McGeehan plus other sales. Proper money behind Dane now to bring in some serious quality.
It is probable this coming summer will be the most successful transfer window in Barnsley FC history.
    In Dane We Trust.

    It might be

    Walton

    Halme

    Styles ?

    Thomas

    Chaplin Schmidt ?

I make that one midfielder and a centre forward short plus back up needed.

According to Tykes TV we've upped our bid for Dykes to £1.8m as of today .

That's very close to the £2m asking price Inverness are seeking .

Azza sed in Post 2 on this thread--

    Second Law of Transfer Window--

"Barnsley put in club record transfer bid for a player but are frustrated."

Seems unlikely Paul is throwing brass abart like Rishi Sunak when we dunt know our league and income next season.
