    Kane Hemmings

Kane Hemmings signs for Burton. Born in Burton, too, just took him a while to get to the Brewers

Didn't do much for us and St Mirren.

He did do a bit for us, he missed 10 games and was still our top scorer with 14 goals in one of the worst Notts teams ever, that's not a bad return with all the sh*t going on last year and 10 in 25 for St Mirren isn't bad either. It's about a goal every 2.5 games which isn't bad for the lower leagues.

Dennis for example has one in 3.6 for Notts, Wooton has 1 in 2.5, Thomas has 1 in 3.2 etc

You can't compare a regular starter with players who often have come off the bench, as 15 minutes counts as an appearance.

Stats on here somewhere showed that Dennis last season had a much better rate of goals and assists than Wooton when minutes played were the measure used.

But equally some players are more effective coming off the bench when opponents have tired legs, those stats are for both of his seasons at Notts and he wasn't great in League 2 for us because the service to him was shocking, Hemmings had the same service though and did okay. My main point is that Hemmings' goal return for us wasn't bad though, I don't remember Wootton coming off the bench much and most people were happy with the amount of goals he was getting, just like Russ said in the squad topic about Enzio being laid back, Kane had a similar laid back personality which seemed to make people dislike him almost from the moment he got here

Hemmings played one full season for us in L2 where he made 37 appearances (1 EFL trophy). He has appeared twice for Notts at the start of the NL season. In total he has played 2,880 minutes, scored 14 goals which is a goal every 206 minutes or every 2.28 games.

Dennis scored 16 goals for Notts this season just gone in 1,997 minutes, a goal every 125 minutes or every 1.39 games. Mind you Dennis only scored 6 goals in 1,477 mins for Notts the previous season.

These are great stats! Fair play ncfcog for taking the time to put them together!
