He'd only just started running as of last week. No involvement with first team at all. Still think he's a good few weeks away yet.

    Harsh.....

Maybe shooda went for the 3 for the price of one...Hernia, fut, haid . I'm sure I had a player in striker (the game) looked just like him. Pressed too hard , it never popped oot again :/

Joking aside, he is a pretty good player, skins for fun at times, and runs his heart out for the team, defensively and in attack.Just wish he could pick a player or area out when doing so.

Best of luck to him recuperating, hopefully back asap .

I seem to recall seeing a montage of all Shanklands goals last season and a fair few assists were from Messi McMullan

I think he's better playing central, we certainly miss his pace and trickery. Hope he's back soon.

I'd say there is a big question mark on whether McMullan will be able to make the step up. Hopefully he'll be back soon and we can see. Fingers crossed.

This for me. Easily our most frustrating player over the last few seasons. Two games in and hes already behind Bolton in the pecking order. He can have all the pace in the world but if he can't cross a ball he'll find himself on the bench more often than not.

McMullan has been one of the better performers over last few seasons. He has talent and he works hard. I actually think he’s type of player MM might like. We are actually missing something on left side without him though Logan C stepped in at Well and has done ok.

We definitely need some players back as too many injuries can affect any team.

No robson today and I am a bit unsure how good sporle is.

We really need Sir Lawrence back pronto. This is type of match where he can make the difference
