Well, I explain to you, I'm not from Scotland, but if have entered some forums of Scottish teams for the subject of the research that I'm developing, what can you see in the thread that started, for the treatment received when i asked, I would tell you I received the best treatment, at clydebank and here it seems that too, so I'm happy of your victory,

It did help our game though. Looks like the days of teams getting to the halfway line before being challenged are long gone.

    Long may it continue............

Very happy just now, with the team, the tactics etc....... every point we get now is a point we don't have to nervously fight for at the business end of the season.
On Appere, he's struggling playing with his back to goal. He's far more effective on the wing when all the play is in front of him and he can drive with with ball at defenders. He did it a couple of times today and looked like the Appere of old. Ask him to back into defenders, hold the ball up and bring others into play and he's clearly struggling. It's not his game.

Still think that was a stonewall pen, you plant your leg like that striker goes over it and 9/10 pen is given, but i'll watch it again on highlights.
Only saw it twice but also thought it was a stone waller.

Totally agree... It takes more than being a big laddie to play that role. Thought he put in a great shift though considering the amount of closing down he had to do.

Do prefer him driving at players, much more effective and dangerous, unless it's Cammy Kerr who seemed to give him at least a yard, numerous times.

Well thanks for your interest in Dundee United. It's good to see your research questions being answered. We have fans all over the world, many because of the great teams we had in the '80's and our European results from then.

Not yet, but time is on his side in terms of learning this aspect of the strikers role.

If he can continue to work hard and improve, he could have a great career. He's got a lot of good attributes as a forward player.

He needs to add more goals to his game. But I reckon he's got a good chance of making it. He's got to apply himself during the week and work on it though.

Overall a much more accomplished performance than I feel would have happened under RN and the willingness to implode wasn't there.

Both Harkes and Pawlett collected the ball too often with their backs to goal rather than looking forward, but I am sure with time they will develop this.

Appere put in a very good shift but he has to realise he is no longer just a big lump of laddie and has to have much better control and distribution of the ball.

I think we're passing it better because the players are being coached how to play football. The players are being asked to be more patient in possession and find a man instead of pinging it forward regardless.

Looking forward to seeing the pen incident on a big screen tonight.

Great result. We were better in second half. Clark and Neilson made a big difference when they came on. Thought both Connelly and Reynolds were solid enough. Decision making in final 3rd needs to get better, and the final third still needs to improve. That said up until today county were undefeated so this makes the result all the better. Well done lads. 👍
