    Clarets feature in Goal Of The Season.

    Unfortunately , it was against us at White Hart Lane. The goal was scored by Spurs Son, and no matter how many times you look at it, he should have been stopped before he got within striking distance of our penalty area.The more times you look at it,the more painful it becomes. No other club would have allowed that standard of defending to happen.I like Son, very much an under rated player by today’s standards.However , when a goal like this is scored against your team, it’s a little hard to take.

    Should have been brought down at least twice in that pantomime of defending.

    Yep he’d have got him , probably two feet above the knee as well.

    No, no, no army! If he had done that in the modern game of today he would have been dismissed from the field taken round the back of the stand and hung, drawn and quartered for using excess force, endangering an opponent, being reckless or whatever other crap they come out with these days!
