    Decent back up. Clearly wants first team football that wouldn’t be guaranteed at Notts with Slocombe being superior IMO

    Again, with no gate receipts and cash therefore at a premium, you would imagine we'll take advantage of having Jake Kean as goalkeeper/ coach to provide back-up, considering that Sam Slocombe is a competent No.1. Kean's definitely got more career experience at a decent level than you would expect for a National League back-up.

    Anybody know how good Tiernan Brooks is? I presume he's got some promise as we've given him a contract. I'll never forget how we let the obviously talented James (Jim) Walker slip through our fingers many years ago, supposedly because he was "too small", but he turned out to be a very good pro.
