Great bikes from my childhood. Family had mki and mkii choppers and later a grifter over the years. Rose tinted specs off, the grifter was the more practical and better bike. Think there was also a smaller version of the chopper, a chipper for the youngsters.

I just typed in 'spare parts for raleigh chopper' and tere are loads of folk who can supply parts Cayton
Yeah m8. There's loads of bits about on FB, eBay, and specialist sites. Some of the prices need a 2nd look as they can be a little eeeeek. It just about getting my head around what's worth saving or replacing, what should be chrome. What should be paint.

I think It's going to be a long game getting it right and I could sell 1 or 2 of the frames to fund the others.

Something that did suprise me was the weight. Especially the grifter. Omg. How did we do wheelie's and jump over our mates laid under a plywood ramp?

Not very well, a few got squashed.
This is now bringing back more memories. Some mates had a “tracker” similar to choppers but not Raleigh makes if I remember correctly.

Need to add the front wheel to the list as when I've had it sand blasted it's ended up with more holes in it than the millers defence.
Also a set of bottom bracket bearings plus decals
