    King Kev...a good read

    Really good article.

I've given up lamenting what could have happened (well, I haven't but I don't want it to get in the way of remembering the good things). I'm just glad I was there to see it and be part of it. The article is about him rather than him and us so it's not just a nostalgic wallow.

Everything that can be said about the man has been said.

He was/is his own man - even when he went to Hamburg, ahead of his time.

A free spirit, lightning in a tea cup as a player and manager. The press crucified him towards the end anyway they could like playing Southgate in midfield in that last England game. They didn't like it but I could see what he was trying to do, it was clever.

    Legend.

That was a fantastic read without any exaggeration.
