    Rob Holding

The Chronic (I know, I know) are reporting it's looking like we'll get him on loan. In itself that's no bad thing as he's decent.

What's more telling-whether we get him or not-is the fact that we're after another central defender....because obviously that's an area we're lacking in

Fernandez, Schar and Clarke are in the final year of their contracts-yet another example of how badly we are run-and we also have Dummett, Lejeune and Lascelles. Suggests to me that at least one of the out of contract players will be off-my money would be on Schar who Bruce doesn't seem to rate.

(In one way, I don't care...but in another, I obviously do and if we don't talk about this sort of stuff there's no point in this place, really. )

    Thoughts.

Heard one of the announcers mentioning Holding during the Charity Shield.

I would take him in ordinary circumstances but currently no, I woykd be afraid that a few on loan like him might have us in danger of staying up.

    ...how warped is that.

I think Schar could go on to be a top class player if he leaves this sh*t show.
If I was him you wouldn’t see me for the dust.

Schar is class....but....I wouldn't have him as a CB if we were playing a back 4. Ideally, I'd have Lejeune and Fernandez but in a 3, with licence to get forward more, he's fantastic. On CB abilities alone, I'd argue he's not as good as those two.

And Lascelles nowhere, he has to be one of the most overrated players at the club along with Ritchie both perfect bruce players

Aye...Lascelles hasn't kicked on the way we would have hoped. On his day he can be really good but he can be turned too easily and I think he ball watches too much.

Holding is decent and I don't mind if we get him but we are over-run with CB. Agree that this means we'll probably lose Schar, which is just further ****e to add on to how things are going - although I wish him well and expect he'll go on to greater things.

He can fûck off, dont want any loans from the so called top 6. Does this mean we are a feeder club for them. You all need to read what you post. Ashley really has got the fanbase where he wants it, the corrupt Premier League have the fanbase in its place.
The sooner this club is rid of Ashley and out of this league the better. Only Premier league I want NUFC in is with new owners and Hoffman, Bush and Masters held accountable for what they have done.
If all 4 are still in place next season I hope we never win a game.
