Good to see some of out old favourites in action like Northampton ON Chenecks and Biggleswade United back in action along with last years first pick Hemsworth MW. Still waiting for the BBC or FA site to update and show all the results.
Well I was obviously the kiss of death as the 3 I mentioned all lost. Some cracking games though, I counted at least 3 with 10 goals. Non of this tippy-tappy football at grass roots.

Games come thick and fast at this stage of the competition. Maltby Main host Newark Flowserve (is that beer or sewage?) on Saturday at 3pm. Those who might be frustrated after our game at Wycombe (hopefully only by the streaming and not by the result/performance) can head down there to see some live football (I think?).

Almost 100 ties to pick from if attendance is allowed including local Millers' foes Frickley and Stocksbridge.

    Up the Flowserve!

Frickley also progress but Stocksbridge bite the dust. At least one of our old friends from Biggleswade (home of the Laughing Policeman - probably not any longer if he's been defunded) make it through to the next round.

So it's a tough trip next Tuesday night (22/9) to AFC Rushden & Diamonds for our boys from Newark Flowserve. Hope their plumbing/brewing bosses give them some time off to prepare, otherwise they could become another victim of the MM curse.

Bet there'll be some money on West Allotment Celtic tonight.

Disappointed to see Hashtag go out last night.
