    Are we really likely to get anything from this? Wigan sold him at a loss, so I doubt we'll get any sell-on.

    So what are the criteria of the sell-on clause in this particular contract? Would be unusual for such clauses to trigger unless a profit is made.

    Going by the old Championship Manager, which is obviously accurate, the clause could be either a percentage of the next fee or just the profit. In real life I'd be amazed if it's not the latter but I doubt any of us really know?
