    Carabao Cup

We have drawn Stoke in The Carabao Cup at Wolves. If we get through against the Potters then we have the winners of the match between Gillingham and Coventry. The Stoke game is scheduled for Tuesday 15th Sept, the day after we play Sheffield United !!!

I’d imagine we’ll still field an U23 team with one or two first team fringers and new faces.

Hey Abbo mate, what do we all think about this 'LG Cup' competition these days ?. It used to mean summat dinnit, but its nowt these days and I wuddn't care if it got scrapped. We've got to gutta Middlesbrough by the way, and then if we can win then we go away to Chelski's B team lol.

It had it's value in that it created income for some of the lower league clubs. EG Burton Albion v Manchester United. However, with the current restrictions, it's just another match that most clubs could do without.
