I am trying to find the right word to describe this England team which has played these last 2 matches. I've got it - Pathetic.

Let’s just hope that Southgate doesn’t ruin his last 2 years improvement.

Commentators are dreadful, really giving booth barrels to Kalvin. I thought he had a really composed/disciplined performance. Okay so he didn't pull up any roots, but he never did anything stupid.

When he came off, Denmark really started to look a threat

Far more experienced players did far worse - in a poor team performance on debut he did pretty well.

I know it means a lot to many of you but sometimes the truth has to be told.

The three lions are just not very good and have not been for a long time. Making it worse is that watching them play is as exciting as watching the Aldi truck unload on a saturday night. Elvis was still singing that last time they had a chance to win it all.

Kalvin was certianly no worse that the rest of overpaid primadonnas out there representing the country.

Agreed - he was playing in a more advanced role at first because Rice was playing behind him in Kalvin's normal role. Once Kalvin hit his stride, and particularly when Rice got out of the way, we started to see him boss the situation in his normal way- shame he came off but i think yesterday will have done him a lot of good for Saturday in terms of pace of the game and getting him up to speed himself.

BTW never seen Alexander Arnold, a truly exceptional player normally, play so badly as he did yesterday.

Sure the Foden/Greenwood mullarkey didn’t help but seemed a very negative set up with KP not allowed to do what he does for Leeds.

On the bbc website KP was highest rated England player but maybe it was hijacked by LS11 😎
