I believe we let Sheffield United take the receipts when we won in 2009, as far as I know it happens every year.
Yes it does make sense I suppose, and its true that you do indeed learn summat new everyday, sometimes without even realising it.
I know how much it hurt us losing in the 2000 Champship Final to Ipswich, and thats the closest we've ever come to the Prem since leaving it.

Besides being delighted that there's a proper northern club in the play-offs Acido, there's a second delightful aspect to your success. I know our friends down the road in Blackburn, still suffering from the delusion that they are a BIG club, and wallowing in mid-table mediocrity, are looking across the Pennines jealously, and thinking "How the feck have they done that ?"

    Don't tell 'em.

As usual the bookies favourite will be Brentford, but I quite fancy the cussed Tykes to get the third promotion spot.

I hope so, because that guarantees us six nice and easy points for next season.

Just hope the ghost of Skinner Normanton doesn't read that BT, or you might be having some sleepless nights.

Anyone watching the FA Vase 2020 Final being played now at Wembley and is on Freeview on BT Sport. Hebburn v Consett.
Good first half ended 2-2 with one of the Consett players carried off on a stretcher with a bad head injury.

It is still 2-2 with an hour gone and is a refreshing game to watch with lads getting on and playing the game without any histrionics and the officials also doing a decent job.

Hebburn won 3-2 in the end. Harrogate v Concord is also on Freeview BT Sport at 5 o'clock in the Trophy Final from last year and will be the first time that an EFL team has played in the final.

Rotherham's draw last night means things are no longer in their hands, they need Derby to get beat and win their last game. All those games in hand came to no avail, perhaps they were played out.

Just checked the final fixtures, Rotherham away at Cardiff and Derby home to Shef Wed should put Derby as favourites to stay up.
