Well it was called dive for a penalty at the Etihad, as Lancaster has already put his thread up about it, first Steptoe throwing himself about like a rag doll as he usually does and then Maddison jumping up and falling down like he'd been hacked on the legs when only a hand pushed him, just the same as Wood was fouled last night, but unfortunately Wood didnt go down like he was shot so BFC gained nothing, handballs in games again spoiling the outcome, what a farce our game is now

"handballs in games again spoiling the outcome, what a farce our game is now"

After the second ludicrous pen this weekend I just gave up to it, and switched over to the Rugby Union. I really can't be arsed to watch games where you get a goal just because the ball accidentally brushes someone's hand. Is there any other sport in the world where you score simply because of an accidental event which is all part of the normal course of the game ? What is the point of all that training, coaching and practicing, when all you need to do is hit the ball in the general direction of a player's hand in the penalty area ?

I'll no doubt get back to watching it again fairly soon, but for the next week or two at least the game will proceed without me observing it, I've had enough of the idiocy.
