    Burnsley 2-0 Tranmere

A comfy looking result for us, and a win is a win in the Cups of course.
But genuine credit to Tranny & Keef the cowboy Hill, for having a go in this game against our full strength team.

Good result. I've long had an affinity with Barnsley going back to the days when you had Payton. I was with Rossendale Clarets and you invited us into your clubhouse for a few (well a lot really) pints before the match. It was a good night until Kevin Lynch was unleashed on us. Going home I remember passing a pub near the ground and there was a chalk board out side with "Thanks Ref" written on it. At least we got Payton back.
