An Australian observatory has scanned 10 million star systems with some sort of thingummy jig and were unable to detect any form of alien life that leaves a signature like radio waves or whatever.
It just so happens that i have one of those detectors, i bought it on Amazon. When i drive past the Abbey stadium and turn it on, no blips show on its read out.
Even when i point it at a person. It does blip when i point it at a person walking on Newmarket Road, so it does work.
