Unfortunately, the losers will be the less well off Labour voters who switched their allegiance to Boris. They will be the ones hit hardest when the money has to be found to cover his shambolic handling of Covid and Brexit.

ps I see your pin-up girl Priti Patel has come out of hiding to give us her thoughts on what constitutes "mingerlin and absolutely mingerlin"!

So we don't have less well off Tory voters? They are all comfortable are they?

I know the Socialists don't have a lot of experience at running a country (and won't do for years) but it's the easiest thing in the world to criticise how a thing should be done if you've never had the experience for years to try.

The gorgeous Priti .... a classy female, way above Labours front bench offerings unless you have a kink and disagree. Now here's a snippet you won't know about ... and I'm quite prepared to take your remarks if I'm wrong although it can't happen until the New year. The illegal immigrants swarming to our shores and (for them) living in luxury at our expense. What is going to happen will give you more outrage I'm sure. Come January or therabouts she will put a bill through parliament (your shower can't stop us) amending the infamous 'Uman Rights bill. Think on son, no fancy lawyers (again getting rich from us taxpayers) to defend them. So it'll be cheerio Abdul - have a safe flight.

I'm sure there are less well off Tory voters, but I suspect less by comparison. The point is that many Labour voters decided to put their trust in Boris Johnson. Let's see how he repays them.

Dunno about a kink, but if you see her as "classy and gorgeous", let's just say we have different tastes in women.

If you really think this government is capable of stopping illegal immigration, once again I think we'll have to agree to differ.

    Deja Vu?

''That is not how I wish to do business in Europe—but I see no alternative. We cannot continue business as usual within Europe when we are faced with the clear disregard by some of our partners of reason, of common sense and of Britain's national interests. We continue to want to make progress through negotiation; but if that is not possible, we are bound to use the legal avenues open to us and the political means at our disposal.

I believe that the whole House recognises the strength of our case and the urgent need for progress. The approach that I have outlined deserves to command support throughout the House''.

Isn't there a difference though between using legal avenues and breaking international law?

Whatever has Johnson come to, other than Cummings' puppet?

Keep your hair on MM. I was simply pointing out that a similar situation had arisen before. The John Major 'Beef War' was resolved with barely a handbag being swung. Maybe this one can be as well? We wait to see.

Three months after the first salvo, when Britain's 14 partners in the European Union prohibited the export of British beef for fear of so-called mad cow disease, Prime Minister John Major's Conservative Government reached an agreement on Friday for a way to end the ban in phases.

    1. When all this Covid is over and we're completely sovereign again I believe in 2-3 years good help will be given to ex Labour areas as promised. A few may revert back to Labour but not enough to matter.

    2. I would hazard a guess I have more experience on this matter than you but that's my business

    3. Yes. No problem when new laws are made.

    1. 'All this Covid' will not be over in 2 to 3 years. You have a lot of learning to do, old feller.
    2. What's experience got to do with taste? I find Patel repulsive and physically not up to much. Perhaps you see yourself as some kind of Lothario and therefore a classy womaniser? You really come over as quite self-obsessed, Serious.
    3. Organisational skill rating by this mob thus far - 2/10. All the great laws in the world will come to nothing if your administration is s h i t. All Boris's laziness and corner-cutting will make this a longer haul than you think. Give him time and Starmer will muller the fink.

    Possibly something like this?

I noticed the EU has already reigned back it's threats to boycott the London Money Markets.
