I've seen that rumour as well Tanya.

    Would make sense as well.

Or its a clinging at straws. . .but money is being spent and that isn't a Ashley thing.

i dont think its clutching at straws because something is obviously going on behind the scenes. If the deal was off, Stavely would have released a statement. The PL even said it hasn't been rejected.

The last week or so have been completely out of charachter for Mike Ashley.

The Saudi's creating that media group was a bit strange and at first i thought it was probably done to aquire the club as a state owned group, like Man City set up the Abu Dhabi United Group in order to take over them.
They already have PIF though, so there would be no need.

I'm speculating they will use this media group to get the tv rights from the PL. That Qatari bloke who owns BeIN starts his trial for corruption and bribery along with Fifa and Uefa. If he is found guilty, the PL will have no option than to withdraw their agreement with BeIN.

If Mike Ashley has sold any of his shares, companies house would need updating as a legal requirement for HMRC.
He has two weeks to notify them of any changes, i looked, nothing has changed yet lol

I thought NUFC was totally owned by Ashley and was not on the stock market,if that is the case why tell companies house until shares have been listed.
