    Why???

Why do I care so much. For months now i've tried to convince myself that the premier league can go f*#k themselves NUFC and Mike can do one.... People send me msgs to say we've signed this one and that one. My response is 'I don't give a f*#k'
But as kick off get's closer and closer I find myself getting a little closer to the cans, butterflies start in the stomach and thinking to myself can we get 3 points, can we get off to a good start...... why oh why do I put myself through this. Guaranteed the Telly is about to take a sh(t load of abuse probably be the odd can thrown at it.... and all because I try and convince myself that I don't care. *******s. I'm starting to think I care toooooooooo much..... 😈

mate, we are all in the same boat. Every summer, most of us think the same way.
This year im more intrigued simply because we have brought in tried and tested premier league standard players.
For the first time in the Ashley era, he hasn't gambled on untested foreign imports and has turned a blind eye to age, sell on value and wage ceiling.
If these new boys hit the ground running, we could have a very dangerous attacking side.

Unless Bruce fecks them up with the negative shatics

It's a sickness, lads. There's no real cure although some have managed to hide the symptoms very well. But, it never really goes away-it lurks in a hidden corner of your brain/heart, ready to strike again.

    Bit like shingles, really

All of the posts above are because you are all real fans at heart and can't hide your feelings.

That's just the way it is whether you go and support or whether you begrudge yourself and stay away in principle because of what the fat ugly schnide has done to the club.

It's satisfying to just think that sooner rather than later things will change and life will return to normal.

Couldn't sum it up better than Pat and Zip.

Promised myself I wasn't going to get excited about season - all **** really. **** you, you're not what we want.

Yet it got to 8 and I kept finding excuse to go outside the pub and check the score.

I thought Andy Carroll was great especially first half they couldn't do a thing with him needs to be careful with his elbows tho ,the 3 debutant s did well too ,cracking start to a season I wasn't bothered about

Manquillo is ten times better than he was two years back, had a solid game in my opinion.

Manq is better than most give him credit for. I think it's because we all remember how shyte he was in the beginning, but he's a more than decent squad player to have.

I was a big critic but he has come on steadily and improved. His crossing has got much better (before seeing much of Lewis, he’s the best crosser we have). Yesterday Bruce had him staying forward with Shelvey filling in early on, which worked well.

I used to cr*p myself when he got the ball, but no more.
