Funny week where we had another postponed game and the average score was 5.7. The top 6 at the start of the day only scored 25 in total so there’s little change up there. Purring with contentment is Pete with a top score of 12. Desperate for a hiding-place is Mullen who managed only 2. You should know by now that there’s no hiding place Richard, all is in plain sight.

Frank didn’t show which is in accordance with his ultimatum that if I didn’t give him a point for the postponed Altrincham v Sutton game last week he’d walk. The prize fund may well be reduced as a result as he’s a sport and was putting up part of the prize. Who knows though, after searching his conscience he may accept that sport requires participation and he’ll reappear. I may be completely wrong and he may have simply forgotten, in which case I apologise to him unreservedly.

Pete’s performance puts him up four places to 6th and keeps him in contention. Frank’s down three spots and I’ll keep him in the table in case he returns.

As I’ve said previously, the table’s stretching out but there’s still time to make a challenge for the top. Why not give it a go?
