    New table without Psaw2. Chalky’s had 6 of the best so that’s an end to it.

    1 Chalky.................10
    2 Mullen..................9
    3= Acido.................8
    3= Davee................8
    5= Griff...................7
    5= Cayambe............7
    5= Stephen.............7
    8= Frenchlion..........6
    8= Piglet.................6
    8= Frank (Psaw)......6
    8= Tricky.................6
    12 Pete...................5
    13= Howoldboy........4
    13= Nobby..............4
    15= Claw................3
    15= Crusha.............3
    17 Alf......................2

    Alf will be pleased to see that he’s now 17th instead of 18th.

    Another mixed week, but first some housekeeping.

    One thing that I should have mentioned is that some folk find it easy to forget to enter, or go on holiday and don’t bother putting in an early entry, so for their sakes they are awarded points equal to the lowest actual score that week. I can’t do it too often though or it defeats the object of the game, but it allows you to get pissed and forget, as has happened to our antipodean friends in past years. And others. It goes down under ‘did not enter’ or dne for short. Similarly, anyone starting late gets the running total of lowest scores as a base score to start with. That’s why there’s EOB at the bottom of the table now, short for ‘every other bugger’.

    Anyway. Whatever.

    Sorry Piglet, not Baron Samedi and I wasn’t thinking about Haiti. I had in mind the fictitious necromancer Johannes Cabal in the series of books by Jonathan L Howard. Close but no point.

    Chalky had another good week, showing the consistency of a true champion. Yeah, right, there’s a long way to go. Top-scorer was Tricky with 9 and he’s leapt up to second. Davee failed to show and drops to 10th. Welcome to Altobelli who just beat this week’s average score of 5.5 with a 6. This week’s also-rans are Cayambe and Stephen with 2s and they both drop from 5th to 13th. Unlucky for some, eh?

    Incidentally, thanks to Stephen who’s bunged some more cash in the pot, so the prize for the winner currently stands at £85.

    Have a great week lads.

    Sainsburys have the honey on offer at £20 for a 1ltr bottle,worth saving for when you fancy a 'romantic' weekend or if you are in the dog house
