I've worked out that if I correctly predict the outcome of every game left and everybody else scores nowt then I'm still in with a chance of claiming the crown so don't put the champagne on ice yet Griffy

Sorry Piglet, when I said that mathematics was all Greek to me you missed the obvious clue. The answer was, of course, Thales of Miletus.

Anyway, the average was 4.5 this week with no-one in double figures. Me and Piglet had a mare with 1s each. On the other hand, this week’s stallion was Frenchlion with a solid 8 and, as a result, he’s the highest riser, up three spots to 12th. Crusha and Piglet are both down two places otherwise it’s just minor adjustments to the table.

My lead is now down to 10 which is a gap that can easily be closed. We have four games coming up on Tuesday thanks to shoddy weather and pestilence, then two Saturdays. Easy-peasy then? Time to have a go if you’re hard enough, or summat.

Anyone know how to park a bus?
