... A mention in dispatches for Acido who has broken up the band and left the other two members of the A Team bereft. Some good scoring in recent weeks. Is this a permanent split or, like all boy-bands, are they due for a tearful reunion some day soon? Time will tell.

Well Im the youngest and I needed to breakaway and go solo. And the middle aged groupie birds are phoning me a lot more again now lol. The 3 Man A Team is no more Im afraid.

Quite a busy midweek evening with five games completed today plus the Rotherham v Derby game from a few days age which Howoldboy spotted. Huge thanks for that.

Sc­unthorpe v Bradford was abandoned as nobody could see a f­ucking thing so there’s another one for the list. The games, scores and points are on the postponed games thread so please go over and check this stuff.

Crusha got 5 but stays in 12th. Piglet is down three places while Howoldboy and Stephen are both up two. It says a lot when you score less than Frank who isn’t even here so no surprise that Frenchlion and Acido are both down two spots and Alf remains the only contestant yet to score a ton.

Will someone please pray for us?

Sorry Piglet, according to the Kojiki, Jimmu died when he was 126 years old. I don’t mind you comparing me with someone descended from the old gods, but I’m nowhere near curling up my toes just yet, and I don’t look a day over 125. No point.

Anyway, just the seven games off this week. Seven. Still, mustn’t grumble. While this season goes on, so do we.

Average score was 1.4 with Howoldboy sailing into harbour with a stupendous 3. Well done. Crashing onto the rocks were Chalky and Crusha who got nowt. Alf managed to cement his bottom-of-the-pile spot by not turning up. Oh, and Chalky, there weren’t any draws, a major flaw in your entry this week.

Howoldboy is up two spots to 4th, Frenchlion up two to 9th, while Southblue is down two to 6th. The rest, only minor changes.

Please remember to check this stuff. Despite my comments to Piglet above I’m only human therefore there will be human errors. The magnificent Howoldboy checks a lot of this and pulls me up but, as with the world out there at present, something nasty could creep in under the door that neither of us spots (and I’m not talking about Frank) so do the checks and let me know if you think I’ve got owt wrong. Ta.

The postponed gamed thread shows the dates of the rearranged games so pop over and have a look (I won’t shoo you this time Chalky). There are games coming up on Tuesday so I’ll update this after then.

So it's come to this again,back in the bottom two with Alf,I now see it as a straight fight between me n Alfie to see who gets the wooden spoon,I was top of the league for weeks at the start of the season 😥

Sorry Piglet, Cindy’s statistics were far preferable to those used by Ludwig. The answer was Erst Mach, no friend of Ludwig, though I find his comments on logical positivism somewhat pretentious. And he had a better name than Ludwig, though Cindy had the best norks.

Anyway, sorry for the delay, the fixture on Newport’s beach was moved back a day due to a soft rain shower and egg-chasers on the pitch the day before, and I’ve been down to Kendal today for the jab. It’s been a good day, really.

Back in the real world, scores came in between 10 and 2, with an average of 5.2. This week’s bit-coin was Claw with 10 which deserved a bigger rise up the table than the two places he actually achieved. Well done. Our muddy half-groats in a ditch were Altobelli, Crusha and Piglet with 2s. Stephen got 9, which makes him this week’s biggest riser, up three spots to 7th. Crusha’s 2 takes him down three positions to 15th. My own 9 has opened the lead at the top.

No more postponed fixtures until 9th March, but there are still 14 to play so there’s bound to be a twist in the tail at some point. Keep the faith.
