Where has everyone gone? Only 16 entries? Never mind we move on.

We have a new record......the 300 points barrier has been broken!

Also, waiting for the late score to come in, several of us were hoping for the correct amount of goals to be scored and they were, for three of us. It's getting very tight at the top now with only a couple of predictions left.

The shout outs: Millerstale is the first to break through the 300 points barrier this season. Excellent score and very well done so far. Others will no doubt follow suit but that is a tremendous effort.

It obvious to all that the season is all but over as another low 16 predictions were recorded, but each to their own and probably many packed in knowing they can't claim the title etc. I just hope that those that initially entered look to come back and join in again next season and look to stay the course. At one point we had 27 predicting so interest is still out there which was great to see.

Two more hit the 300 barrier which is another great achievement and it's probably these two that will push Millerstale all the way to the end with very little to choose between them.

The shout outs: Three scores of 19, 18 and 14 were achieved.

Goal Bonus: Back to back 27 goals were scored again and these were claimed this time by, EricsladKilnhurst, BramleyMiller58 and myself. I think this number and 24 have been the most rewarding this season.

Wooden Spoon: BramleyMiller58 goes from last weeks spoon holder to top scorer this time so he's a happy chappy . so that just leaves CAMiller, Grist and CaytonMiller to hold their hands out and take a spoon each for scoring 3 points. I think Ericslad has had the most this season with probably me a very close second. All in good fun and hopefully someone else takes the pressure of ELK and myself next time around.

It's very very close at the top now with only one set of fixtures left to see who is crowned Champion, thing is, who will it be?

A good 2 weeks on 27 goals, so I crept up league table, according to league Brin, I need to move up
2 places, one lot of games to go, so will be trying for a treble on the goals scored, same has Brin.

''They think it's all over....it is now!'' Whoosh and another season has passed just like that. The final results are in and what a dramatic ending to the Prediction League, to see who would finally be crowned Champion for this season.

It all boiled down to the final game, sound familiar? Who would have guessed that Sheff Utd of all teams, only won six games all season, would cruelly snatch away the title from someone who for the majority of the season, has lead for many a week.

Reflecting through the tables there were some very strong contenders who, had they stayed the course, may well have been the Champion. I truly hope that what forever reason, they reconsider and look to join in again next season's PL as it makes it all the more challenging. I thank you anyway for having taken part earlier on.

It's been an immense pleasure running the league and I look forward to doing so again next season if there are no objections. The format will change as to the scoring and in a few weeks time, I will be inviting ideas as to how you might like the scoring to differ from this season.

The goal bonus certainly helped a lot out, *cough* , that boosted scores well and propelled some way up the table, this will change though. The Wooden spoon was an embarrassment to get but EricsLad kind of got attached to it . This will certainly remain next season.

Okay enough of the rambling other than to say thank you to everyone who took the time out to have a go be it for a few weeks or saw it out to its conclusion. I look forward to seeing many entrants giving it a good go the next time around, thank you once again.

The shout outs: The highest scores for the last lot were a 16 and two 10's. The 10's having been achieved without the aid of the goal bonus and they were from AvondaleMiller and CTMilller, well done.
