It still might not quite be football as we'd like it, but at least there are games to watch again. I'm not sure many teams will score three goals away from home and still lose, but that's the way the Leeds cookie crumbled at Anfield. Glad we made a fist of it.
Not a bad start for many (welcome back all!), especially given the (white) rose-tinted PL spectacles worn by most in the first game and fif**** points were needed to take a share of the opening week's top spot. Well done to Alfinyalcabo (OEEx), Dalek_Sec (xEOE) & Hopelesslyoptimistic (xEOE). Alf should probably be docked points for predicting a Leeds loss.
Fredlufc74 (OEOx), Hgatenasty (xOOE), Lufc74 (OEOx), Lufcjohn88 (XOOE), Tichi1 (OEOx) & Yeboah01 (xEOO) scored twelve points out of the available twenty-four. Definitely half good.
The table reflects those already listed above and, errr, the rest of us.
Johnny_Default starts off on 3 points, but this is somewhat irrelevant as no active poster has missed a game as we've only just started!
The results
(PL) Liverpool v Leeds United 4-3
(C) Bristol City v Coventry City 2-1
(L1) Swindon Town v Rochdale 3-1
(L2) Barrow v Stevenage 1-1
The next fixtures are (or shortly will be!) out as a separate thread.
All the best! Stay safe!
