It sounds very dodgy what's happening at Barnsley. If I was one of their fans I'd be asking where did all the money go? They have been paid substantial money, way over the top,for players leaving. We do not want to be allowing our ground to be shared at all.TS will still remember the poaching of Robbins which went down very badly.

Hillsborough would be better for them to accommodate their regular 30k fan base

. If it was to happen this season it would be a good help to maybe balance our books what with playing in empty stadiums and the resulting reduced revenue.

The idea of a Barnsley fan sat in my seat turns my stomach

But if they paid what we pay for the up keep of it I’d take some anti Barnsley wipes to wipe my seat down.

Not interested in going half’s it’s got to benefit us

I'm sure some of this is posturing and threats to get the two current owners to change their stance.
It seems as though they might be quite far down the line though which all adds to the pressure.
The fans will also be angry with the current owners if they play away

What about Gigg Lane in Bury for a venue

There's a big stadium in Darlington that doesn't get much use.

New franchise team the Darlo Tykes?

Actually a new football/ rugby league stadium for Barnsley and Wakefield Wildcats would make sense, somewhere between the two places, just off the M1.
