Okay, we’re disappointed...although it is only the Carabao (distraction) Cup.
He’s building a side and I suspect, because of this season’s lengthy window, we may all have to be patient. If we get the two signings mentioned today it’ll be a huge step forward.
Either way, and I know I’ve said this before, it was a weakened side in a not very important competition. Be patient...we’re Derby fans, we should be good at that.
Its what he's remembered thats the worry rA

I'm with you on this so far rA. If we are still piss poor by the end of October or we lose 6 matches in a row, then I think we can worry.

Barrow lost 6 of their first 9 last season and got promoted as champions.

    I’d agree with that.
I really don’t get all the pessimism.
We all know that Cocu is building a squad and there are players to come in, we all know that last night’s squad was weakened and that we lost an unimportant match to a very debatable penalty, so...let’s all panic and chuck the baby out with the bath water...again!

Or...we could stop making silly suggestions about changing the manager, mid-build, and look at the positives.

See Luton beat Reading who outclassed us three days earlier so we should be on the end of a hammering at the weekend...or not, because football’s a ‘funny old game’. Luton fan Curtis Davies to score the winner? Who knows...whatever happens we’ll be two matches into the league season. Keep calm and COYR.

There is always the exception that proves the rule! As a rule of thumb I look at how we have done by November and always prefer a team to ahve a slow unspectacular start to a season.
