Or Casey was way out of his depth? He was obviously trialling positions and different things - at least I hope he was.

Fair play to Hull and especially the old boys who did especially well.

You could be right...or carrying a slight injury. Either way, the result was fair by the sounds of it. Onwards we go!

So we weren’t interested in the cups last season because we wanted to go up.
Now were not interested this season because we want to stay up.
What’s the fu cking point if wer going to go out in the first round. Defeat breeds defeat.
Can’t see us on a trip to Wembley anytime soon that’s for sure.

Ps. I don’t like getting beat.

Pretty woeful all round. If that was supposed players pushing for a place in the 1st team I doubt any of them have given MB a headache. Hard to pick out who was particularly awful and probably easier to say who wasn't errrrrrrrrrrr .......

Disappointed in particular with the 'senior' players, none of whom seemed overly bothered. Why we were playing keep ball around our own penalty area when we were a goal down at home to a side 2 leagues below us will remain forever a mystery.

Agree Billy - if you play, you play to win not lose.

The same will happen at a Burnley tomorrow. The premier league is where the money is and these games only end in unwanted injuries for key players. Our manager Dyche will make sure we have an early exit.
