Seeing that he'd only managed one and a half seasons in tier 4 with Scarborough before he came to us, it was a brave as well as a genius appointment by Derek Pavis. If the internet had existed back then how many of us would have put Warnock anywhere near the top of our list of suitable candidates? You have to give a lot of credit to Derek for bringing him here.
