Seemed to have a very bad patch of around 15 - 20 min after going up 4 - 1. Not sure what happened.

dont want to get WTF11 excited, but Koch and Rodrigo dont look much on this evidence, Bamford starting the season well though.

Neither have had time to blend in, cant judge yet (see, I can be as objective as the next man!) Still don't think they are value for money but these first two games arent enough to come to any conclusions.

Just know that the attitude of "you score 3 and we'll score 4" is not going to work in the big boys league, that defence needs sorting out, and quickly.

Still has not been a single draw in the Premier league as yet.
For me, Koch is a necessary replacement for White. In that sense, he has been fine.
Rodrigo is the club's most expensive signing. Therefore there are higher expectations. He has played like an average Premier league player. To be fair he has been asked to come on a substitute striker against the mighty Liverpool, start in a 2nd string team midweek, then play as a no. 10 (at the last min). So fair game it has been very tough for him.

Newcastle could afford to play like that because they had very reliable striker called Shearer. Not completely you can compare Barndoor Bamford with Alan Shearer. At least not yet. Defensive woes are a definite problem.

Palace leading Scum. If this keeps up, it will be an excellent weekend! Palace play a rather old fashioned 4-4-2. Very organized. Seems to be working this season.

Opinions BB, opinions. Conclusions I'll arrive at with evidence of performance in the PL, you should try it sometime (bit like the "he's a capped international, he doesnt need to be Bielsified" nonesense.)
