No wonder Roly is in favour of kneeling for Marxists, they're kneeling to people like him.

Doesn't mean everyone else has to be in favour.

I'm glad they are not kneeling for people like you Gfire. That would be scary...

I don't ask or expect anyone to bow to me though, my ego isn't that big.

A somewhat more balanced view from a different sport:

I would have thought that obvious, Wan.

More balanced than the 'you shall do as you are told and follow the diktat of the left' approach.

Lawes had suffered at the hands of the court of public opinion/social media lynch mob for his views, however.

Do you really think the millers players were being told to follow the diktat of the left in choosing to kneel? If have been quite happy with whatever decision they made, but I think that any organisation where people work closely with black people will be plenty aware of why so many of their black work mates feel strongly about the movement and want to show their support. I don't think anyone is pressuring them. I agree with your link's general point though that dialogue is needed from all sides.

It's quite plain to me that Kerr cannot represent black people in his "profession" whatsoever because he has nothing in common with them nor does he want to...and another reason why he is a fake...

Pup, I'm pretty sure I saw Woody selling Socialist Worker outside the market before the match on Saturday! So our learned friend might be on to summat!

I never thought that the revolution would start from a bunch of footy players...Marx had it wrong it wasn't the proletariat he needed to defeat capitalism he just needed to form himself a footy team!

What a load of complete bull from the master of it...
