Two who are bordering on 'legend' status as far as the Clarets are concerned.

One of my best days ever when we won promotion at Sc-unthorpe.

I'll never forget listening on the radio when he said 'There's a cancer running through this club', he said he would sort it out and some players would never play for Burnley again. He did and they didn't. God bless him.

If Stan is a legend (he probably is ), then Mr Garlick is a Super Hero.

Even after two G&Ts and a bottle of Madiran I'm not biting BT, you'll have to do a lot better than that.

Six wise men (well perhaps five, because Baron Flood doesn't count as "wise") led into fiscal battle by our own Super Hero, fighting the whims and fancies of the evil Ginger Minger, has all the making of a cult comic...

There are no legends in football, just people who play a game and may be remembered for it. Legends, heroes don't get me started!

I agree with that sentiment entirely Supersub6.

My two grandfathers were heroes to me, both survived the horrors and deprivations of World War 1, both had the medals to prove what true heroes they were.

How dare these BLM miscreants diminish their memory by desecrating the very memorials that were erected to honour their sacrifices?
