Take the last prediction
First time this has happened in the time I've done it .
Fantykestic has placed two predictions which I assume is in error .
His first prediction was 2-0 to Reading and gained him the maximum four points and was placed on 13/09
He's predicted on 16/09 a 2-1 win for Barnsley with no points gained .
Which one should I take ? or should we totally disqualify anyone from a particular fixture if they make two predictions ? .
Unsure what to do in all honesty and come up with a fair outcome .
Any suggestions ?
Take the last prediction
Let the first prediction stand imo
I'm going to see what you guys think for a couple of days before coming to a decision so the Reading game will have to be parked until monday evening as far as points getting handed out is concerned .
I'd welcome Fantykestic's input too on this .
The informal rule used in the first two years was--
1 Inform the predictor he had made two predictions and ask which he/she wanted to stand
2 If the double post wasn't spotted or the predictor failed to reply to 1 above then the first prediction was taken
3 Predictors can change their mind but this must be stated clearly in the changed score by the predictor that the second supersedes the first. With no request to change the score the first will stand
4 The decision of the administrator is final with no appeal mechanism.
id say null and void on both predictions but in fairness take the first.
it does look like he changed the prediction because of the win on tuesday.
Make it the rule 1st prediction stands irrespective of mistakes by the poster fantykestic
Sure we’ve had it before. First prediction would stand for me unless they state they’ve changed their mind
We've had it before under SB's watch and I wasn't sure how to proceed with it because it's not happened on mine and I'd forgotten how it was dealt with .
If everyone is happy for Fantykestic to have the four points based on his first prediction then that's totally fine by me .
First prediction for me , and a 12 pts deduction
