We all know he's rubbish but we paid £7m so the club are protecting their investment.

There are some awful players in our side what with him and Bartley,Sawyers,Gibbs and Robinson at this level.

This is worse than Megson's first Premier League side because at least that one fought for every ball.

There are going to be games this season where we ship 7 or 8 goals and I fear the record could go against better sides' can see 10 or 11 against some teams.

If Johnstone and Sawyers play against Chelsea rather than Button or Gallagher they must have some dirt on Bilic.

Bartley and O'Shea are out of their depth and Robinson is another Scott Sinclair - a complete fairy!

Bit harsh to blame him for all 5.

But I see what you mean, its not like he makes unbelievable saves and keeps us in matches. The saves he does make are all quite regulation and basic.

3 crosses onto 6 yard line which surely is a keepers ball 100% of the time , beaten from distance again and too slow off line for the other

A really poor GK he is, instills no confidence for the defenders (and vice versa of course with Bartley...), does not command his area, always ”frozen on the line”.

He's been rubbish for a long time 123! Awful kicking out - awful positioning and inspires zero confidence in the defense. You can't justify this about some good saves which is part of his job anyway. Was Ben Foster like this - no! Look how Button commanded his box in the week!

    Button should be in!

Even Shilton or Clemence would have ended up on Prozac and Qualudes with those clowns in front of them. Three ''centre backs'' and we concede four goals from crosses into the box. We would be better off with Strodder and Raven when it comes to defensive headers.
